Linyi has established intimate cooperative relationships with more than 50 countries and regions in the world. Till the end of 1995,the accumulated utilized foreign investment projects reached 662, with contracted investment volume reached 500 million USD, with factual utilized foreign capital of 200 million USD. In1999,supply volume of export goods completed 4.6 billion yuan, export for foreign-exchanged earned 87.414 million yuan.
There are 552 joint ventures totally. The cooperative fields mainly include textile, food, light industry, building materials, electronics, machinery, agriculture and real estate. There are 24 joint ventures

on the list of top joint ventures of the province. Yuetong Motorcycles Co, Ltd. among the top ten ones, Linyi Xingguang Textile Co.,Ltd was apprised as provincial star joint venture, Linyi Ynli Kernel Food Co.,Ltd has been apprised as national foreign investment double exterprise for five years.
Linyi is one of 27 important export goods production bases of China. There are 25 comprehensive and specialized foreign trade companies now. 650 varieties of 27 kinds of export goods including cereal and oil, food, vegetable, drawnwork, silk, local specialities, handicrafts, anmial products, light industry, chemical industry, medicine, hardwares, minerals, textile, clothing, machinery and equipment and etc. are sold to more than 100countries and regions in the world.
